A clear purpose.
What we collect and why
An updates signup stores your email and consent. A consultation request stores your name, email, business or idea, goal, preferred times, time zone and consent so the founder can respond. Product updates require a separate opt-in.
Where the information goes
Submissions are stored in the private CrouseOS control database on its DigitalOcean host, and included in retained database backups. Only the authenticated CrouseOS contact owner can review them. Submitting a form does not create a customer account or grant access to a venture.
Delivery and scheduling
Email delivery and calendar integration are not connected yet. Submissions are saved for human review. A consultation is a request, not a confirmed appointment. The contact address is dan@crouseos.com, configured as a Microsoft 365 alias for the founder.
Your choices
After signing up, keep the private preferences link shown in the confirmation. It lets you opt out of updates for that submission without signing in. You can also contact dan@crouseos.com about contact preferences or deletion. Do not submit confidential records or sensitive personal information.
Protection and retention
Forms use HTTPS, consent records, limited input sizes and submission rate limits. Rate limiting uses a keyed network-address hash over a one-hour window, rather than a plain address in contact records. Old rate entries are removed on a later accepted submission. Contact details remain until the owner reviews their retention; automated deletion, an automated retention schedule and a complete offsite recovery service have not yet been implemented.
Site behavior
This public site uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The private operator console uses a secure session cookie. Essential hosting access logs may contain network addresses; application request logs omit form contents and credentials.
